'Shan'
Victoria's first Grand Champion, "Shan" has had a wonderful career
spanning some six and a half years, taking her first major win, Best
of Breed at nine months of age at the Royal Melbourne show 1997 and at the same show six years later taking bitch challenge and runner up
of breed to our Manowar.
With many many in group and in show awards, Shan is only the second
bitch in the country to be granted the Grand Champion title, with
only nine cresteds holding this title in Australia. Multi Best in Show
and Royal BOB winner, "Shan" as a veteran was still making her mark in
the ring along with veteran stable mate "Jorja". Shans 2002/2003 show
season was just as sucessful as always with five Royal Challenges,
one res challenge and Best exhibit in show at the Bass Valley Kennel
Club all breeds championship show, with well over eleven hundred
entries.
Her finale being awarded BISS at the 2006 Victorian Speciality at nine
and a half years of age, Judge Mrs B Marsh. Shan loved the ring and
has given ME two lovely daughters "Hooz That Girl" and "Come As You
Are", both Champions.
